RemoteStarterCheck is a Calgary, Canada project by Jahan of YYC AutoTech. We keep the directory simple and do not use advertising trackers.

Vehicle searches

Vehicle search runs in your browser using a static search index. Your dropdown selections and search text are not sent to an external search service or saved by this site.

Newsletter signup is hidden until a subscription service is connected. We collect no newsletter email addresses in this build. You can choose whether to subscribe; use the unsubscribe option in future emails to leave the list.

Installer interest

Installer applications are hidden until a form service is connected. We collect no application submissions in this build. When enabled, it requests business name, city, contact email, phone, website, brands installed and a message. We will use those details to contact you about listing options. Required consent is shown on the form. Do not include sensitive personal information in a message.

Analytics and hosting

Cloudflare Pages is the intended hosting platform. Cloudflare Web Analytics is the planned cookieless analytics service, to be enabled through the hosting dashboard. It is not installed in this local build. No ad trackers, tracking pixels or third-party search service are included. Hosting and form providers may process technical information needed to deliver their services.

Use, retention and providers

We do not sell submitted personal information. If submissions open, information will be used for the purpose described at collection and kept only as needed for that purpose. Providers may process information outside Canada under their own terms. Provider details and retention arrangements should be reviewed before forms are opened.

Canadian privacy and contact

We aim to handle personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy requirements, including PIPEDA where it applies. You may request information about use of your data, access, corrections or withdrawal of consent, subject to applicable requirements.
